Angela “Angie “ Normia Barnes was born March 12,1978, to Rosalind Eileen Coger in Bradenton, Florida. Angelawas the oldest of two children. She was educated through theManatee County School System, and a graduate of Southeast High School class of 1997. While attending Southeast, she was a member of the track team and numerous clubs. Angela earned her CNA license in 2017, and worked in the nursing field until she found her passion for cooking which led her to start her own business in 2020 known as “ Cooking With Love / Blessed Kitchen #2 LLC.( Her mother, Rosalind, was founder of Blessed Kitchen #1” As she served her customers with a big bright smile and reserved demeanor, Angela had a unique ability to make others laugh just as well as being a listening ear. While having a big heart she was what you would call always being real, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Angela was also known for her home cooking and soul food dishes and also her tasty seafood. Through her witness, laughter, cooking, and her sense of humor, and passion for others Angela has touched many lives. She was known throughout the community as “Angie “ or “the lady with the good food.” When she wanted to relax she would find herself fishing which was one of her favorite past times ( naming herself as the angler of all times ) as well as the best bowler who ever bowled. Angie will truly be missed.
