Charlene Johnson-Mosley was born April 15, 1951 in Palmetto, Florida. She was the second child of Clifford and Doris Johnson.
Charlene was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. She attended Manatee County Schools and graduated from Lincoln Memorial in ‘69. After graduation, she joined the United States Navy.
She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Johnson; daughter, Reshone Mosley, brothers, Ronnie, Timothy, and Anthony.
She leaves to mourn, mother, Doris Presha-Johnson; son, Renard Mosley; brothers, Allen Ray, Stanley, Lonnie (Alfreda), Johnnie; sister-in-law, Joan; Aunts, Vivian, Albennie Powell, Inez Sanders, Helen Harrington; grandchildren, Thomas Bell, Jimmy Holmes, Cameron Mosley, Dasha Grooms, Charlene Grooms, Trinity Grooms, Mariah Mosley, Jordan Mosley, Nodica Mosley, Keith Timmons; great grandchildren, Rashawn Jackson, Breyon Henderson, Drayden Dawes, Harmony Hicks, Cayson Hicks, Baileigh Papillion, Tyri Bell, A’lonna Bell, Ava Bell, Zaharr Grooms, Sky Hunt, Jayli Holmes, Julya Holmes, Jakyle Holmes, Kaycee Mosley, Cameron Mosley, Brielle Harvey, Iris Harvey, Kami; Special Friend, Jeffrey Stevens, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be 2-4PM Friday, August 5, 2022 at Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W., Palmetto, FL. Services are 1PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at New Life General Baptist Church, 609 9th St W., Palmetto, FL. Condolences may be given at www.Westsidefh.com
