Con was born in Stewarton Mocho Jamaica on February 28, 1951. He was the son of the late Egbert Reid and Phyllis Brown. Raised by Edna Lamoore due to the early death of his birth mother. Con went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2022.
Con went to primary school, and after leaving he went on to learn a trade in woodwork and construction. He worked for many years as a mason.
He immigrated to the United States with his sister, Norman, his youngest son, Deman and he joined his three elder brothers, that lived in Bradenton. Con was determined to work, he started his first job on a farm picking fruit and later continued to look for work in construction where he found a job working for AMS Construction Company where he spent a total of 14+ years.
He was married to the late Paulette Reid for 43 years with whom he shared 6 children.
Con was loved by his Children, family, and friends he had a great life. He is survived by 6 children, 1 brother, 3 sisters, 32 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be held 12:30 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Mt. Gilead Seventh-Day Adventist Church 1803 13th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205. condolences may be given at www.westsidefh.com
