On October 9, 2022 the late soldier for the Lord, Sister Cynthia Elaine Kelly received the promise made by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jesus came and received her unto Himself that where He is our loved one may be also.
She was the third child born to the late Alexander DeLeon Kelly, Jr. and Fannie Mae Brown Kelly on April 15, 1951, in Bradenton, FL. She attended
public schools here in Manatee County and Keiser University. As a child, she was taught to love the Lord. At an early age, she accepted the Lord as her savior.
She was an Essential Worker providing health care for over 30 years throughout many counties in the greater Tampa Bay area and Suncoast. Her desire to serve
others was why she excelled in a field that requires a servant's heart. Some may not know that she was an avid reader and published author. She appeared on "Home Keepers" a popular daytime talk show on the Christian Television Network where her renowned book "How to Survive Abusive, Controlling and Addictive Relationships" was a feature of the segment. She used her platform to spread the good news of Jesus Christ everywhere she went.
Over the years she was known for opening her home to many people as she was decorous and gracious. She was an excellent Mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Charles Kelly Sr (Sara) and Alexander Kelly (Barbara).
Cynthia leaves to cherish fond memories of her life and three loving sons: Larry Younger (Shameka) of North River Ranch, FL. Demetrius Bell of Palmetto, FL, and Elijah Joshua Elrod (fiancee: Ladon Ward) of Parrish, FL. One brother Minister Edwin "Bruce" Kelly (Juanita); seven grandchildren who loved her dearly: Cyandra L Younger, Savannah M Younger, Leahnna L Younger, Zacharia Ward, Zerrell Ward, Zavien Elrod, Zamar Elrod, and Zadarian Elrod. She also leaves a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
