Donald “Pal” Henderson was born February 29, 1960 to the late Annie Ruth Sutton and John Hunt. He answered the call of The Lord on the morning of Wednesday, October 15th, 2025.
Donald was born in Sylvester, Georgia and was the first son of his mother Annie Ruth. He later moved to Palmetto, Florida and then relocated to Avon Park, Florida where he resided until the loss of his sister Janice and his health started to decline.
Donald joined St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in 2004 under the leadership of the late Dr. Rev. Fletcher Lawson, Jr. Donald was a plumber and worked many years in the industry. He took pride in his craft and was very well known for his skill. He was the family’s “go-to”, the one that they could depend on.
Donald’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, the lives he touched and the memories he left behind.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Annie Ruth Sutton and John Hunt. His sisters, Bobbie Smith, Tenise Sutton & Janice Henderson
Donald leaves to cherish his memories: Spouse: Judith Henderson; Children: Nikita Clemons, Ashley Isom, Deanna Bacon, Ikea Smith Saunders (Ray), Donald “Jay” Henderson, Dontay “Tay” Henderson, Quincy & Meggany David; Siblings: Rebecca Hall, Shirley Henderson, Velyn Henderson, Linda Aubain, David Sutton (Vanzetta), Antaneet Hunt, Willie Sutton and Rosetta Hardy. Aunts Corneila Armstrong and Jeanette Henderson. Grandchildren: Dontavious Jr., Keenan and Jayden Howard. Joel, Da’nyla, Jace, Kaylin, Breon and Brooklyn Henderson. Nieces & Nephews: Steve, Kenny, Christy, Keith, Tasha, Toya, Angela, Shanelle, Brittany, Nigel, Quincy, Mike, La Tonya, Heavenleigh, Laterria, Erykah, Chris, Mesha, Ashard, Amari and host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
