Earnestine Constance Doss

With sadness we announce the Home Going of Mrs. Earnestine C. (Riley) Doss. Earnestine was born in Bradenton, Florida August 26, 1936 and rested August 20, 2025 while a Resident at the Villa Maria Nursing Facility Miami, Florida. Earnestine grew up in the city of Bradenton where she was educated and was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial High School (Trojans) and Nursing School receiving her LPN and further Specialized Nursing Education. While on the drill team at Lincoln she met the love of her life Oscar Doss Jr. who was a star Football Athlete. From this union Oscar and Earnestine became the proud parents of two children Roylestine (Deceased) and Eric W. Doss (Evangelist MFT). Earnestine was Baptized into the Body of Christ at the 201 10th E. Church  of Christ Bradenton, Florida under the teaching of her son. Earnestine had an amazing and phenomenal upbringing through the hands of gifted entrepreneurial grandparents Alonzo Wright Riley and exceptional parents Lillie & Rufus Calloway. Earnestine was brought up in a home filled with the Arts of Music, Culinary, Dressmaking, Upholstery, and many other skills of development. Earnestine was a gifted Pianist, Creator, Choral and Mezzo Soprano and Altoist, she was blessed to Direct and Develop Choirs in the Bay Area for many Years. Earnestine was also a gifted charge Nurse in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Health Care Facilities in Manatee County. Earnestine loved to travel, sports, cruise in her Cadillac, design, accessorize, cook for family and friends, and help her husband create sauces and seasons for the Barbecue Pit . Earnestine deeply loved the Lord, Husband, Children , Grandchildren and Great Grand Children. Her family legacy and those left to mourn include her Husband Oscar Doss Jr. (65years Deceased) , 1 Sister Minnie Mitchell (Bradenton Deceased) 8 Sisters in Laws which preceded her in death Melcena Golfin (Bradenton), (Dorothy Jones, Lynell Simms, Berdell Martin, Marie Walker, Mabel Doss, Arvita Stokes, Mary Wright) Children  One Daughter Roylestine Doss (Deceased), 1 Son Eric W. (Wife Lana Miami) 2 Half Sons Reggie Lindsey (Wife Angela Bradenton), Roderick Lindsey (Wife Roselyn Bradenton Deceased)  8 Grandchildren Lahoma Reaves, Sam Reaves, Xavier Reaves, Marquita Grant (Paducah, Kentucky), Elantra Doss (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), Naffarterrier Doss (Miami) Reginal Junior (Bradenton), Breanna Scott( Husband Ray Melbourne, Fl.)  21 Great Grand Children 2 Great Great Grand Children, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
