Emerson Martin

Emerson’s passing on January 4,2026, is a deep and personal loss to his family and close friends. Emerson Martin, Jr. was born in Bradenton, Florida to the late Emerson Martin, Sr. and Mabell Morrison Martin on November 7, 1935. He served in the United States Army.

 Emerson was a retired construction worker. He loved to go fishing, work on cars, and sit around and converse with family and friends. He was best known for his outspoken, no nonsense, loving and very direct personality. His laughter and attitude alone would make you either cry or laugh. Anyone who knew him could surely testify to this. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend, family oriented, definitely a protector of his family. He was well known and loved by many and he will definitely be missed and forever in our hearts. Emerson Martin, Jr. was the sixth sibling out of his parents’ eleven children and his siblings.
