Emma Jean Leach

Emma Jean Green-Leach was born in Bradenton, FL. on June 19, 1937. She peacefully transitioned at home surrounded by loved ones on August 5, 2024. She was Preceded in death by her parents Tom and Sarah Green and her husband James L. Leach. She leaves to carry on her legacy three sons: Donald C. Scott (Deborah), Elroy T. Scott (Marian) and Tommie L. Evans (Seletha). One brother Minister Thomas E. Green; one sister Sarah O. Dawson. She adopted one of her grandsons at a very early age Letroy D. Pate; six other grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, two special nieces Laquita R. Jackson and Franzina Green as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and church members. Visitation is 6PM-8PM Friday August 16, 2024 at Westside Funeral Home 204 7th St W, Palmetto, FL.
