Eva Mae Brown, 81, was born on September 15, 1944, in Bradenton, Florida to the late Johnny and Rebecca Brown. She earned her wings at home Monday, May 11, 2026, surrounded by her family, and friends.


Eva Mae was a native of Palmetto, Florida, and was educated in the local school system. She worked in pharmaceutical operations at Winthrop, for over 15 years. She absolutely loved and found peace tending to her garden, and taking care of her flocks of chickens. Moreover, cooking was her love language. She was passionate about preparing meals, and deeply committed to fostering a well-fed and supported community.



Eva Mae was an active member of Genuine Hope Ministries, Inc. of Palmetto, FL. On Monday, January 7th , 2019, she joined the ministry, Sunday, February 24, 2019, she was baptized, and Sunday, October 16, 2022, she was formally licensed and ordained as a missionary by Pastors Joe Jr., and Dr. Marvina Allen.
Missionary Brown was preceded in death by her Husband: Andy Blue; Her parents: Johnny and Rebecca Brown; 3 Sisters: Emma Lee Thompson, Johnnie Mae Bennett, Idessia Wade; 2 Half Sisters: Catherine Brinson and Michelle Brinson and 1brother: Ralph Brown.



Missionary Brown leaves a legacy of love, cherished by her 5 Children: 2 Boys: James (Mallette) Cooper, and Jamar (Denise) Pompey; 3 Girls: Patricia (Melvin Vaugh) Cooper, Nellie Cooper, Tara (Terry) Battiste, and Stepdaughter, Torina Prince; 2 Brothers: Edward Brown, Sr. and Alphonso (Beatrice) Brown; 2 Sisters: Virgina Brown and Diane Brown; 2 Half Sisters: Cynthia Brinson and Fay Brinson; 24 Grands and 30 Great Grands, relatives, and friends.


Missionary Brown was a devoted and loving, wife, Mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend.
