Fairy Cooper-Archie was born on December 31, 1948, to the late James .L Cooper and the late
Nellie Gordon Cooper. Fairy resided with her family in Osprey, FL for many years until they
relocated to Palmetto, LF where she remained. Fairy attended Lincoln Memorial; she was a
dancing majorette throughout her high school years before graduating with her class of 1966.
In 1968, Fairy Cooper married the late Wille Lee Archie. Throughout their marriage they had 3
children and 9 grandchildren together.
Fairy worked as an Activities Director for senior through the Manatee Opportunity Council (MOC)
until she retired. Fairy was a fun, loving woman whowas devoted to her family.
On September 3, 2023, Fairy departed this life for another in spirit and truth. She leaves to
mourn her 3 children: Reginald Archie, Angela (Charles) Jackson and Latoya Archie, all of
Palmetto,FL. Aspecial stepson Jacari (Monica) Archie or Wimauma, FL. 14 grandchildren:
La'Kierra, Shanita, Dimmie, Kwanzi, Dorian,Kyla, Hazel, Vanessa, Jacari Jr., Charles Jr., Cecelia,
Jontae, Saneria and Mardarrin. 14 great grandchildren. 1 sisterMatiida Simpson ot Palmetto,
FL. 2 sisters-In-laws Viola (Charles) Holmes, of Palmetto, FL and Maeola (Weldon) Washington
of Fort Myers, FL. 1 brother-in-law, Timothy Hines of Tallahassee, FL. A God sister, Rose Roma
and a special brother, William Rome, both of Palmetto, FL. 2Goddaughters, Zelda Corbett and
Janay Scott. 2 dear friends; Ruby Fobbs and Ruthie Mae Lee, as well as a host of nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Our dearest Fairy Bell aka Bell Star will be missed and remembered greatly.
