Sgt. Gregory Tyrone Galloway was a native of Bradenton, FL the second born of four to the late Bobby Joe Galloway and Gloria Jean Galloway- Davis. He attended Manatee County Public schools and graduated Southeast High School in 1981. He joined the United States Army in 1981 were he served for over 10 years receiving a host of medals for his honorable ser- vice. He completed two tours and served during Desert Storm. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1992 and began his career in the United States Postal Service in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2006 he returned to his hometown of Bradenton, FL where continued his career with as a Union Representa- tive. He retired from the United Postal Service and devoted his time to ser- vice at Ward Temple AME Church where he served on the Trustee Board and Usher Board.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife Lina Galloway of Cincinnati, Ohio.2 loving and devoted children, Justin Howell of Charlotte, North Caro- lina and Natasha Galloway of Cincinnati, Ohio. 3 brothers Bobby J (Lawanda) Galloway Jr., Anthony D. Galloway, and Stanley Davis, a devot- ed cousin Charles J. Chestnut, Jr, All of Bradenton, Florida, sister Valeria Jones of Springfield, Massachusetts, Devoted Aunts Teak (Eddie) Senior and Jan E. Smith of Bradenton, Florida; Devoted Nephews Nathaniel Cannon, Jr., Troy (Mercedes) Galloway, Sr., Marcus (Kiera) Galloway, Sr., Vantrez Yarn, Jr., Byron Galloway, Malik Galloway, Dontavian Dunbar, Jeremiah Jones, and Tyrese Galloway all of Bradenton, Florida, and Bobby J. (Alicia) Galloway, III of North Carolina- Devoted Nieces, Lakena (Damon) Williams, Sr., Erica Galloway, Montreace (Troy) Fields, Mikkicia (Glenn) Galloway-Woods, Donnita Jackson, and Sabrina Williamson of Bradenton, Florida, Ashley Galloway of Miami, Florida and Shaquoia Nel- son-Galloway of Dayton, Ohio; A Special Cousin Mary Reaves of Hallan- dale, Florida; A Devoted Cousin Mary Helen Harvey of Cocoa, Florida a host of great nieces and nephews and sorrowing friends.
