Gregory Green was born on January 6, 1959, in Bradenton, Florida, to the late Ella Mae Green and Eddie Mayes. Gregory was the sixth of seven kids. Gregory departed this life at home.
Gregory was educated in the public schools of Manatee County. Gregory gave his life to Christ as a young boy. Gregory attended church at St. John First Baptist Church under the late Pastor
John Brown. Gregory devoted his life as a laborer, a loving husband, and a family man. Gregory enjoyed spending quality time surrounded by his family and friends, whom he loved, and the ones
who loved him. Gregory attended and graduated from Manatee High School in 1977. He later went on to marry his loving wife, Clara Mae Williams Green. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Ella Mae Green and Eddie Mayes; wife, Clara Mae Williams Green; siblings, L. C. Green (Gloria Golf Green), Betty Mae Green, Ernestine Washington, Wanda Kay Green, and Emma Mae Green Williams, all of Palmetto, Florida.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his three sisters, Jadell Green of Palmetto, Florida, Georgie Mickler and Shirley Hill of Bradenton, Florida; One aunt, Bueller Mae Gather, One uncle, Arthur Clay Green (Annie Carol Green) two devoted brothers-in-law, John Williams of Palmetto, Florida and Henry Buxton of Bradenton, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended
family; and a special friend, Jerome Heaven.
