Howard Stokes III was born on December 10, 1963, to
the late parentage of the late Ola Mae and Howard Stokes,
Sr. Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Howard
Stokes, Jr.
As an adolescent, Howard was very sharp and skillful. After
attending public schools in Bibb County, Howard put his
talents to use, engaging in such work as carpentry, machine
operator, brick masonry, and roofing.
On the faithful morning of July 24, 2024, God relieved
Howard all of his active duties and granted him eternal
peace.
Howard leaves behind his cherished memories with his wife,
Kimberly Stokes; daughter, Tekeyla Anderson Stokes; sons,
Chief Jorden H. Stokes (Simone Stokes), Branden H. Stokes,
BA, MAT, MEd; five grandchildren; brothers, D’Angelo
Stokes and Govan Stokes; devoted aunt, Willie Belle
Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends;
very special companion whom Howard kept near and dear to
his heart, Florine Fulton.
May our sadness be filled with the joy our beloved Howard
has bestowed amongst us as he is now in eternal peace with
his Lord and Savior. Job well done, Howard. You can rest
now... Godwardly.
