James Edward Valentine, Jr. born in Ft. Walton Beach, FL on December 1, 1981 at 1:16 p.m. He came in as a bright light for his parents, father, James Edward Valentine, Sr. and mother, Daphne Valentine.
Whatever James said in life, he did. Starting as a little boy at 5, he wanted to make the world clean by working as a Waste Management employee. I must admit as his mother, I tried to guide him towards other endeavors, but he was determined, never wavering. Finally his grandpa Ed said to
me, “just tell him to be whatever he wants to be and be the BEST he can be” James soared high in his profession. He loved the Lord being baptized by Rev. Harman in Ft. Walton Beach, at five. He joined Open Door Missionary Church at 13 under the guidance
of Rev. Banks in whom he often asked for advice and just had conversations. He had a smile and laugh that could light up a room.
He was predeceased by his Grandfather, Edward Collins, grandmother, Ida Valentine, grandfather, Howard Valentine.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Raechelle Valentine; He had 4 children, Iyanla Valentine, JaShawn Valentine, Paris Maxwell, Sincere Burke, grandson, Tae’vius Oliver; Sister, Porscha Cruze father, James Edward Valentine, Sr.; mother, Daphne Valentine-King; grandmother, Irene Collins-King; sister-in-law, Carmelita Cruze; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends who loved him.
