Johnny Moreland, oldest son of Johnny Sr. and Ophelia Moreland Williams; born, September 23, 1962 in Bradenton, FL He attended Southeast High School, where he played on the football team.
Johnny was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. S. D. "Doc" Pollard; at Mount Raymond Missionary Baptist Church.
Johnny lived a very simple life not worrying about the latest car or fancy things of this world; yet he was a compassionate person. In his work, the lawn business, he would always say and treat every one with respect. He said if you can't do the job right then, don't bother. Johnny took great pride in his work for people. He also loved life and the church.
Johnny was preceded in death by his sister: Tyerene Moreland Edwards and brother, Patrick Moreland, Sr. He leaves loving memories to his father, Johnny Sr.; mother, Opheliab, brother. Brian Anthony Moreland; stepsister: Lesa and 2 step brothers; nephews: Jermaine, Michael Edwards, Terrence Moreland, Patrick Moreland, Jr.; Nieces: Sache, Lorina, S'diqua, Brittany, Briana Moreland; cousins and other family members; two friends who helped care for him, Candise Brown and Rebecca; Minister Clyde Sailes for encouragement for the family.
