April 16, 1944, Joyce Sanders was born to Roy Sanders and Bernice Harris. She was educated in the Manatee County School System and graduated from Lincoln Memorial High School. She was employed by Mariner Health as a housekeeper.
Joyce’s love and compassion for her family was her first priorityand she spent many years raising nieces, nephews, grandkids & great-grandkids. She always found the joy in situations and kept a smile on her face. Her main focus centered on family and always keeping the peace.
Joyce will forever be remembered by her son: Raynard Brydson (Nicole) and daughter: Nikki Brydson; sister: Loyce Reid;brother: Leroy Sanders; Grandchildren: Deondra Brydson, Jayonta Mitchell, Shakeria Mitchell, Nicquan Mitchell, Dameon Brydson, Isiah Brydson, Marquez Brydson, Nathan Thomas & Timothy Thomas; Special nieces: Donna Pearson, Monica Reid and Sharon Kennedy(Albert); Special nephew: Steve Reid(Glenda); special great-grandson: Malakai Mitchell, seven additional great-grandchildren and a host of sorrowing cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation is 4-6PM Friday, December 16, at Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W.,
Palmetto, FL. Funeral Services are 11AM Saturday, December 17, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 501 11th St Dr, W. Palmetto, FL. Condolences may be given at www.Westsidefh.
