Lee Hardy Obituary

Lee Arla Hardy was born on October 25, 1948, in Palmetto, Florida. She was a bundle of joy who entered the world to the late Irene and Clifford Hardy. Her education years were completed at Tillman Elementary and was followed up at Lincoln Memorial where she later then obtained her GED. As Lee began her journey through life, she entered the

medical field in the late 80s which pushed her to give back to the community. Lee worked as a CNA, providing care to residents and families who benefited from the passionate, caring, and loving heart that Lee was filled with. In 2004, Lee

and one of her close friends, Linda Butler, started the “Not Alone Ministries.” The mission behind this ministry was to help kids whose parents were incarcerated feel love through the Easter holiday. This movement started off with only 200 Easter baskets, and by 2017, Lee embarked the goal of 1000 baskets. Lee touched so many lives she came into contact with, and her smile was one of the biggest brightest things you could

imagine. Family time was the best time; she loved her family with all her heart. She was a proud member of the Praise and Deliverance Ministries under the spiritual leadership of Sheldon Times. Lee will be missed by those left to cherish her precious fond memories.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Hardy; father, Clifford Hardy, Sr.; three brothers, Arthur Hardy, Clifford Hardy, Jr., and Alexander Joe Hardy; one sister, Louise Dunbar; one daughter, Lisa Taylor; and best friend, Hazel Barnes.

She leaves to cherish her love and warm smile: her children, Larry Taylor (Maria), John Taylor, and Donjay Morgan; seventeen grandchildren, Marcus Douglas, Lekisha Hall, Dominique Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Rachelle Taylor, Lataria Ducre, Donte Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Darrion a.k.a. “Poppa,” Jantavia “Tay” Taylor, Jasmine Perry, Tiffany “Tip” Jackson, Donjanique “Dee” Morgan, Serenity Wieman, Donjay Morgan, Jr., Daisjuan Morgan, and Brionje Morgan; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one sibling, David “Buddy” Hardy, Sr.; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and special friends, Linda Butler (Howard), Gwen Swain and Neat Brewer.
