Brother Lee Ernest Pompey was born on June 27, 1947, in Manning, South Carolina, to the late Pressley Pompey and the late Maybelle Pompey. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a truck driver and he loved to fix cars, and he was a family man.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Joe Pompey, Van Pompey, Pressley Pompey, Jr., Douglas Pompey, Ivory Pompey and Ross Pompey; and sisters, Thelma Pompey and Dorothy Pompey.
Lee leaves to cherish the memories of his life, his wife, Ida Mae Pompey; children, son, Stevie Brown, Sr. (Torricita), Sidney Pompey, and daughter Lavenia Pompey; stepchildren, Ora Mae Isom (Tom), Jasper Adams, Helen Faison, Charlene Price (Clint), Darlene Waiters, and Henrietta Gilchrist (George); Grandchildren, Katrina, Stevie II, Marcus, Charles, Jalen Seel, Brianna Tarver, Sichey Pompey, JR., Justin, Bruce Kathiea; great-grandchildren, Kaliah, Isaiah, Elijah, Stevie III, Zaria, Trinity, Nova, Macah, Charles, Jr., Nyla, Ivy, Di’Aven, Journey, Darrell, Damirria, Jazly, Jazelle
