Born Leroy Alphonso Forrest December 14, 1939 in St. Catherine Jamaica, W.I.
He was born to mother Cynthia Betty and father Cleveland Forrest who has already preceded him home. Leroy went to rest on Oct 4, 2024.
Leroy was a member and deacon of Pathway Christian Fellowship in Bradenton FL. He was an avid domino player, where his friends called him ‘coach’. He loved baseball, His favorite team was the New York Mets. Before he retired from Brookdale Hospital in
Brooklyn New York, He was a very involved in the SEIU 1199 hospital workers union, Where he was a shop steward, where he helped to improved conditions for workers.
He will be greatly missed, but remembered for being an awesome husband, father, grandfather great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
His wife of 62years Beatrice Forrest, his daughters Marcia Booker, Carlene Lemley, Anna ForrestandNatalieRiley.Hissister SoniaRussell.HissonsBasilAForrestandLeroyA Forrest Jr.(Chalant Sabir). His Grands: Paula Miguele, Michael Daniels Jr., Lillian Booker, Arriana Forrest, Alex Forrest, Wesley Forrest, Ines Forrest, Sean Riley, Aiden Riley, Nialah Sabir, Safwan Sabir. His Great grands Xandria Walker, Xavier Walker (Dante), Cataleya Miguele, Valarie Miguele, Marley Miguele, Nya Daniels, Kamyrn Daniels. Great great grand Devante Walker. Nephew Neville Murray and family. Lance Williams and family. Niece Melrose Rhoden and family, Son in Law and friend Mike Daniels Sr., Son in law John Riley, daughter in law Alex Forrest. Lifetime friend and best bud Winston Walker and family, Maurice Keene and family. Mr. Reid and all his domino friends in Florida. A host of other relatives and friends.
