Bubba was employed by GTE, Head start and later became self-employed doing whatever it was to be done.

Bubba was a people person at heart no one was a stranger to him, some of the things he would always say was "Im Happy", " Whats up Soulja" and "Hey Pretty".

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents Leroy & Willie Lee Buggs; brother George Washington, Jr. ; sister Mary Loyce Buggs-Hart
