Lisa Y. Carter, 56 years old, of Palmetto, Florida, passed away on August 1, 2025, surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply.
She was born on January 7, 1969. Lisa was known for her strength, her warm and giving heart, and the way she put her family first. Her life was one of quiet resilience and deepdevotion to those she loved.
Lisa was the daughter of Evelyn Williams Wayford and Lathial Carter. Known for her good cooking, she would make sure her father got a meal every Sunday; what a girl dad. She would feed anyone.
She attended school in Manatee County. She is survived by her children, Deangelo L. Carter, Jasmine J. Carter, Toni C.McNeal (Mike McNeal, Jr.), Alexandria M. Fuller, Marcus Carter, and Michelle Carter; grandkids, Malaysia McNeal and Maloni McNeal; Brothers: Michael Carter, Lathial Carter, and Christopher Carter and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
