Born February 1, 1945 to the late Willie and Hester Floyd in Headland Alabama, Loleater was the youngest of their nine children. All of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in Dothan, AL and graduated from Carver High School.
Loleater was baptized at Northside Baptist Church at a young age. She joined Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ where she served faithfully for many years. She later united with Pentacostal Church of God where she served until her health failed.
She worked at the University of South Florida, National Linen and Manatee Headstart Program before joining Manatee County School Board. She retired from their transportation department after 30 years.
She married Johnny Packer. The couple were blessed with three children and several grandchildren. The oldest Keshonda Packer- Cooper preceded her in death.
She departed this life Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
She leaves to carry on her legacy; Son, Maurice Packer; Daughters Torina Packer and Melissa Packer; Grandsons, Kayvonte Packer, Robert Jackson and Melvin K Calhoun; Granddaughters, Shyra Calhoun, Samiya Young, Tiffany Young and Xzaria Randall; Great -Grandchildren Rashawn, Adaline and Zayden; Son-in-love Melvin Calhoun Sr.; Bonus Children, Frannie and Marquez; Godchildren Darlene and Anthony; along with a host of loving nephews, nieces, extended family and beloved friends.
