Sister Lolo Mae White was born December 10, 1924, in Ellenton. The second child of the late Nathaniel and Annie White.
She attended the Public Schools in Manatee County.
She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and joined Mount Raymond Missionary Baptist Church. She served dutifully and faithfully until she moved to Tampa, Florida. She united with Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and remained faithful until she moved to Palmetto in 2003. She united with Mt. Raymond FG Baptist Church.
Lolo loved reading books and reciting poems. Her memory of different poetry from throughout her life was remarkable and her love for the bible was commendable. She loved to discuss the bible.
She departed this journey, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Manatee Memorial
Hospital leaving those listed to cherish so many fond memories: one loving and devoted niece, Elma Grace Lee of Palmetto, FL; three grandnieces: Linda McCarter (David), Palmetto, FL; Teresa Nelson (Fred), Jacksonville FL; Debra Langhorne, Seffner, FL,; two grandnephews: Tony Lee (Teacompency), Orlando, FL; Willie Lee (Tammy), Palmetto, FL: thirteen great-grand nieces and nephews; twenty-four great, great-grand nieces and nephews, great, two great, great-grand nephews; and many, many cousins and friends. Special friends, Jan Grutzmacher, Lucy Terres and Rebecca Rue.
