MARION WHITE VEGA was born to the late Otto White and Mary Magdalene Bunton White in Pahokee, Florida. She later moved to Manatee County where she attended public schools and graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1965.

 Marion continued her education and career as an LPN. She worked at Manatee Memorial Hospital for many years and Manatee Convalescent Center. She enjoyed caring for and working with others. She also worked as a crew leader for the US Census Bureau. 

Marion joined St. John MB Church at an early age under the pastorage of Reverend AL Dixon and has served as a faithful member. She has served as a choir member, missionary, and has also served as secretary of senior mission. Marion has been well known as a Bible Scholar that loved to read and write poetry, and she was very well-versed in reciting poetry. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; father, Otto; brother, Monroe White; and sister, Martha White Jackson. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Steven L. Paige, grandson, Jadavion Shird; sisters, Artie Mae Freeman and Lillie Pearl White Britton; five nieces and six nephews; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Her special friends include Arlene Sanders, Arletha Williams, Oreatha Roundtree, Eva Daniels, Louise Waiters, Barbara Givens, Linda Jefferson, Laura Rowe, Cheryl Dunbar, Terry Johnson, and Willie Britton.
