Mary Etta Collins was born on March 21, 1961, in
Bainbridge, Georgia, to the late Rose Lee Collins and J.C. Collins (Shine). She was called home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and devotion.
Mary was a devoted member of Greater Mount Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church. She attended Seminole County High School in Georgia and was a former employee of Spectrum. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering
faith.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Chauncey Richburg of Bradenton, FL; three sisters, Deborah Collins, Pam Collins, and Wanda Collins; three brothers, David Hopkins, Jimmy Hopkins, and Terry Collins; one niece, Janiza (Gabriel) Rutledge; and five nephews, Roderick E. Bryant, Jason A. Arguinzoni, Jay’lin A. Register (Kool-Aid), Jamari A. Rutledge, and Joshua A. Rutledge; and a host of many uncles, aunts, extended family, and beloved friends who will miss her dearly.
Mary’s warmth, laughter, and spirit will forever live onin the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
