Michael David Newsome was born May 23, 1959, to the late Willie B. Newsome, Sr., and Rosetta Newsome. He attended the public schools of Manatee County and graduated from Southeast High School in 1977. After graduation Michael was employed by USA and Arrow Fence Companies for many years as a fence erector/installer. He was baptized at an early age at St. Stevens A.M.E. Church under the Pastorate of the late Reverend M.M. Martin. He later transitioned to Rogers Community United Methodist Church.
Michael lived a full and vibrant life. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a stern and no-nonsense person and very quick to speak his opinion. In addition to his spontaneous demeanor, Michael loved and protected his entire family.
On Monday, July 7, 2025, Michael departed his earthly life at Manatee Memorial Hospital. He will always be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help others.
