Mrs. Mildred S. Isom was born in Orangeburg, SC to the late Leon Wade and Christer Bell Shuler.
She later moved to Manatee County where she met the love of her life, Lawrence Isom, they got married in 1980 and celebrated 45 beautiful years together. From this union they had 3 children.
Mildred enjoyed to travel all over the world to see and experience new things with her loved ones. Also, she loved her job, where she spent 10 plus years cooking for the elderly at Casa Mora Rehab Center. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her heartbeats, her grandchildren!
Mildred lived a good life, she fought the good fight, and she ascended to heaven on November 24, 2025.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband: Lawrence Isom Sr.; Children: Daryl Isom (her #1), Lashera Isom (her Diva), and Lawrence Isom Jr. (her baby); Grandchildren: Irish, Jamarie, Kamara, Jakhi, Lawren, Londyn, and Lyn’nea; Great Grandchild: Ivy; Siblings: Evelyn (Andre) Adams, Deborah (Mike) Isom, Donald(Bridget) Rump, Johnny(Patrice) Rump, and Sandra Rump; In-Laws: Peggy Isom, Ninous(Doraine) Isom Jr., Sharon Isom(Shedrick) Scott, Jerome(Vera) Isom, Jarvis(Cassandra) Isom, James Isom, and Teretha Bell; and a host Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who loved her.
