Oriol Joseph was born May 6, 1957, in Port Au Prince, Haiti, to the late Aristhene and Alourde Joseph. He possessed an unwavering spirit filled with love. He was very caring, hardworking and giving. Always looking out for everyone around him, he took care of home. He loved music and being around friends and family.
Oriol attended school in Haiti, which is where he completed before coming to America. Once in America he followed a career in construction building some of the buildings we drive by every day including our very own skyway bridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anita Joseph, his son Jamal Brooks, and 5 siblings. Together they leave behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength.
He is survived by 4 Daughters Andrea Simmons (Deatrick), Ericka Murrell (Frank), Arlexis Anderson and Iesha Brooks, 3 Sons Edward Anderson (Toni), Oriol Joseph Jr, and Joshua Council. 4 sisters Mary Wortham, Brenda Horton, Frances Bing, and Stephanie (Clayton) 4 brothers Jean Marie joseph, Calvin Gissendanner (Vicky), Al Wortham (Penny), Daniel Wortham
He had 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews. And special loved ones such as Fredrick, Eve and Zoe Zoe.
