Otis Pate III

Otis “Tiny” Pate, III, was born on October 15, 1968, to Mary Rutledge and Otis Pate, Jr.
He attended the public schools in the Manatee County Schools District during his lifetime. He was employed at Manatee Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department for over fifteen years.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Otis
Pate, Jr.; his grandmother, Clarylee Truewell; an aunt, Catherine Cheaves; an
uncle, Jeff Williams; his nephew, Marcus Pate, Jr., and a friend, James Bibbins.
He leaves cherished memories of his life to his parents, Mary and Alphonso Rutledge; a son, Otis Pate, Jr.; a daughter, Mikeil Hill;
three grandchildren: Opianna, Omaryana, and Skylar; two uncles:
James Pate and Anthony Truewell; two great-aunts, Albertha Williams and Ann Hampton; six sisters: Sandra Pate (Lorenzo),
Kim Pate (Keith), Cynthia Rutledge, Shawn Turner (Ed), Lisa Rutledge, and Julia Rush; a god-sister, Patricia Carnes (Craig); two brothers: Alphonso Rutledge and Alphonso Rutledge, Jr.; and his
best friend, Tyrone Bibbins. He also leaves memories to a special
friend, Tracey Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and other friends.  
Visitation will be 6PM-8PM Friday April 21, 2023. Services will be 1PM Saturday April 22, 2023 both at Westside Funeral Home 204 7th St W, Palmetto, FL, 34221
