Patricia A. Smith was born on May 2, 1947 in Manatee County to the late Marion and Katie Mae Green. She was raised by her grandmother Sarah Howard.
She attended Lincoln Memorial High School and worked for Manatee County School District As A Custodian for 21 years and also worked for Westside
Funeral Home.
She met and married her late husband of 48 years. Pastor Henry Smith. She was preceded in death by her siblings Edwin Green, Joseph McCay, Kenneth Green and Josephine Hill.
She accepted Christ at an Early age, she was a member of St. John M. B. Church and moved her membership to Christan Fellowship and ended her membership at God Praise Faith Church.
She Loved People and considered no one a stranger everywhere she went.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories children Laura Rowe(Cleveland Sr) Horace Brinson (Jackie) LaTricia "CiCi" Powell (Eldra) and seven Stepchildren Cora Smith. Gail Moore, Martha Williams, Carolynn Smith -Washington, Henry Smith JR, Michael Smith. One Sister Willette Johnson., 2 brothers Elmore Brinson (Shirley) Fredrick McIntosh (Alberta) and four Sister in laws: Marie Jones, Idella Stanley, Eleanor Smith and DR. Lois Henton.
Eleven Grandchildren: Yasmine Rowe, Cleveland Rowe Jr, Ariel Rowe, Alyia Brinson, Alexia Brinson, Jaherreya Brinson Jarried Brinson, Jamaya Powell, Henriana Powell, Rylan Powell and Dalas Kidd. Great Grandchild Mari Smith.
Godchildren: Linda Brown, Latonia Buggs, Sherina Mitchel, Frannie Mitchell, George Thomas, and Charlie Anthony White: Special Daughters Debra Shannon and Francise Harris. Her
Golden Girls: Marilyn Buggs and Vera Woodie
And The Special Ladies From Tara Elementary Cafeteria. A host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
