Ronald “Rooster” Johnson of Bradenton, Florida, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the age 54.
He was educated in the Manatee County school system. He graduated from Bayshore High. He joined the Marine Corp, where he served his country for four years. He was Deployed to Desert Storm for his service.
He received two medals for being a rifle expert, medal ribbon for national defense service, ribbon and medal for Sea Service Deployment. He serviced his country honorably, and after his service he began working for the Flower Bakery, until his health caused him to retire. Rooster was born on February 9, 1970, to the late Shirley Mack and Willie J. Richardson. He lived in Bradenton his entire life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mack; father, Willie J. Richardson; maternal grandparents, Al and Arthur Mae Tyson; paternal grandparents, Johnny C. and Betty L. Richardson; one brother, Harold Graham, Jr.; one sister, Tracy L Morgan; along with other precious people.
Rooster is survived by his daughters, Roneshea Johnson, Raven Sellers, and Rachel Clark all of Sarasota, Florida; sisters, Condenesa Smith, Francena Richardson; brothers, Oitis Walker (Lisa) and Jason Mallard; aunt, Carolyn (Ozell) Baker; uncle, Al Tyson III, all of Bradenton. Florida. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
