Rory Grooms

Rory Lamar Grooms was born on February 10, 1959, to Edna Rose Lang-Gill and Edgar Gaines in Bradenton, Florida.
Rory was educated in the school system of Manatee County. A graduate of Manatee High School Class of 1977.
He loved spending time with family. One of his favorites was playing chess with his brothers.
Rory was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Sons: Duan Grooms of New Jersey, Cory Grooms and Jermaine Grooms, both of Palmetto; 15 grandchildren, Stepfather: Millard Gill; Siblings: Clint Lang, Charles Gaines, David Grooms, Jacqueline Grooms and Takisha Grooms; Aunts: Mary Lang, Elsie Robinson and Ida Grooms; Special niece: Le'Andra Lang; Special friend: Karen Rump and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
