Roslyn was born on September 23, 1964 in Batavia, New York to the late, Arthur Mae and Al Tyson, Sr.
She attended Manatee County Schools and was a graduate of Bayshore High School in Bradenton, FL. Upon high school graduation, she attended Webster Business School, studying accounting.
She retired from Walmart after working there for over 35 years. After retiring from Walmart, she started a new career with Man- atee County District Schools until her health no longer permitted her to work.
Roslyn was preceded in death by her mother, Arthur Mae; father, Al Tyson, Sr.; a son, Zaharius Johnson; brothers, Leroy Cooper, Freddie Tyson, Tommy Tyson and a nephew, Harold Graham, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, husband, Roderick Lindsey; 2 sons, Gregory Fields Jr., Lecorey Fields; mother-in- law, Ethel Lindsey; 2 sisters, Shirley Mack, Carolyn Baker, 2 sisters-in-law, Angela Lindsey, Joanne Lindsey; Brothers-in-law Reginald Lindsey and Ozell Baker; 8 grandchildren, Zytavia Johnson, Kamiayah Fields, Isaiah Fields, Amari Fields, Izaac Fields, McKenzie Fields, Iyannie Fields, Jacob Fields; 3 nephews, Ronald Johnson, Otis Walker, Arthur Lee, Sr.; 2 great nephews, Jerold Walker, Arthur Lee, Jr.; 2 great nieces, Roneshea Johnson, Jasmine Walker; 1 aunt, Juanita Johnson; a host of loving cousins and friends.
