ShaDana "Dana” Davon Warren Clark was born to Johnetta Jones and Anthony Warren Sr. on December 5, 1979, in Bradenton, Florida. She is lovely remembered by those who knew her. Dana was preceded in death by her mother Johnetta, grandmothers Ernestine Jones and Ernestine Warren, and grandfathers Johnny Jay Jones and Moses Warren. A graduate of Bayshore High School in 1998. Dana's academic journey continued as she earned her Bachelor ’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Florida in 2002 and a Master's degree in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Yet, Dana's legacy transcended her own educational pursuits; she dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation. With a visionary spirit, she founded “let’s GROW”, a transformative leadership program designed to empower and inspire teens to create opportunities that shape their
futures.
Dana ’s professional path led her to healthcare quality improvement, engaging with everyone around her. Even in the face of adversity, including brain surgery in January 2020, Dana emerged as a courageous leader within her community. She was always hosting various events, each infused with her passion for educating others about physical and mental health. Those fortunate enough to cross paths with Dana were drawn into her world of ideas whether through a simple text message or an impromptu conversation, she had the ability to spark and inspire collaboration. Dana never stopped thinking or engaging in how we can do something differently and better. We loved her for her encouragement, support and a “never give up” attitude! She will be profoundly missed, yet her legacy of love and empowerment will continue through those whose lives she has
impacted.
Dana leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Jamara Clark, her daughters Brianna Clark and Alana Thomas (bonus daughter) and her son Jaylon Clark. Her sister Katrina Chambers (Patrick) and her brother Anthony Warren II (Jihan). Her aunts Sandra Williams, Francine Warren (Chester) and Janic
