A Time To Be Born... On August 10, 1961, a bouncing baby boy was born, Theotis Lee in Bradenton, Florida.
A Time To Live... Theotis is a devoted and beloved son, cherished equally by his father and mother. As the second oldest and only son, he is nestled between three sisters who indulged him, and he thrived in his brother role. Theotis attended public schools in Manatee County, Florida, and graduated from Manatee High School in 1979.
A Time To Serve His Country... Theotis joined the armed forces shortly after graduating, beginning his service in the Army. After receiving an honorable discharge following several years, he was recognized for his accomplishments as a Marksman (Rifle) and Sharpshooter (Hand Grenade) during his posting in South Korea and subsequent assignment in Oakland, California. "Accept What God Allows"
A Time To Serve His God... Theotis joined The First Born Church of The Living God, Inc. in Bradenton, Florida in the 1960s, and also served at Bowling Green and Bartow FBC. He joined Eternity Temple FBC in 1982 and became an ordained minister in 2019, serving faithfully until his passing. Minister Theotis taught Sunday School, weekly Wednesday night Bible Study, and professed the Gospel as often as he could.
A Time To Love... In 2001, Theotis met Demetria Kelley in Dade City and later married in 2002, which blessed him with a bonus daughter, Angelicia Yvonne Kelley. A Time To Relax... Theotis enjoyed swimming, playing basketball, listening to music, shopping, and watching his favorite team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A Time To Mourn... Theotis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Clifford Baity, and his paternal grandparents, Abraham Livingston and Estella Livingston-Woodie.
A Time To Depart... Theotis received his crown on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He leaves to celebrate his precious memory, a devoted wife, Demetria Kelley Livingston; loving parents, Lawrence and Clifford Livingston; siblings, Vernona (Dana) Ryder, Lesa (Ricardo) Ramos, and Melissa (Alfred) Peoples; bonus daughter, Angelicia Yvonne Kelley; nieces and nephews, Alton Ford, Dibias Ramos-Waiters, Godson Ryder, Tharsia Ramos, and Jonathan and Jada Peoples; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-love, Betty Ann Kelley; siblings-in-love, Mary Dillard, Gerald Kalvin Kelley, Walter Kelley, Jr., Diana Letitia Kelley, Cynthia Lynette Kelley, and Latasha McKnight; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
