Wilbert was born on September 10, 1947 in Lilly, GA to Andy Davis and Elizabeth Lester. He attended Boundville School in Boundville, GA.
Wilbert left Georgia and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1995. He moved to Bradenton, Florida about 6 months before he became ill. He worked as a general laborer for years. His passion was baseball and of course, his favorite team was the Tampa Bay Rays.
He was preceded in death by Essie Mae Davis, John Davis, Rudene Martin, Andy Davis.
