Willard Boyd Evans, Jr. was born on February 13,1953, in Bradenton, Florida to the late Margaret Thomas Dunbar and the late Willard Boyd Evans,Sr.
He transitioned this life on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at home.
Willard was educated by the Manatee County School District and graduated from Manatee High School. After graduation, he joined the Navy.
Following graduation from the Navy where he served twenty years, retiring with a Honorable Discharge. He worked at Tropicana retiring again in 2004. Willard’s favorite pastime was waching
sports. His favorite football team was the Houston Texans.
Willard accepted Christ at Mount Raymond Full Gospel Church in Palmetto, FL. Reverend Samuel
“Dock” Pollard, Jr. was the pastor.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Adrienne Nicole Evans; Brothers, Walter Stephens, Donald
Stephens, James Evans, Norm Evans and Jeff Dunbar.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Yvette Evans, four sons, Willard Boyd Evans, III, Jason Jackson, Jamerson Jackson and Kyle Evans; two
sisters, Syretta Jackson and Ashley Williams; two brothers, George Stephens (Harvetta) and Jimmy
Stephens; Sisters-in-law, Sheryle Johnson (Mac),
Donna Randall (Lazandious) and Tracy Ashe; two brothers-in-law, Derrick Elias and Roosevelt Conners, Jr.; Grandchildren, Krystal Evans, Alina
Evans, Keyra Ingram, Makayla Petzey, Micheala Jackson, Tahaurus Lively and Noah Evans and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
